Best thing I can say is try to get yourself in the best shape possible before going to bct. While your in bct just keep a positive mental attitude and trust the process. Some days will suck bad and some days will be really fun. I actually had a great time in basic and made awesome friends throughout. It’ll seem like time as at a stand still because everyday single day is basically a 16 hour work day but before you know it your on family day and graduating and looking back it went by really fast. AIT is a cake walk for the most part.Response by PVT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 20 at 2019 3:42 PM2019-02-20T15:42:47-05:002019-02-20T15:42:47-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member4392642<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Wait.... how are you a pv2 if you ain't been to basic?Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 22 at 2019 9:25 PM2019-02-22T21:25:21-05:002019-02-22T21:25:21-05:00SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member5501091<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’ll be 100 percent honest... I didn’t learn much in 91B AIT. I felt like a lot of the instruction was good ol’ Army “check the box” stuff. <br /><br />That being said... try and learn as much as you can! I didn’t like the 91B MOS my first few years because I didn’t know it or learn it properly! Lucky for me, I am in a unit full of skilled mechanics and they have taught me.Response by SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 30 at 2020 5:35 PM2020-01-30T17:35:16-05:002020-01-30T17:35:16-05:002019-02-19T23:36:09-05:00
