When you amend orders it won&#39;t trigger the update to tricare. The initial order will trigger the event for tricare. I dealt with this often when I was in the National Guard. Often, Tricare will only see the original order. Reserve systems do not talk to active duty ones. You should have taken your extended orders in to DEERS, finance, and Tricare as soon as you got them so you could be coded in the system correctly - Similar to when you started on orders (someone else may have done the finace portion for you).
