So I just finished removing all the carpet I could find, now it's time to work on the entryway. Currently you walk into the house and onto some ugly green and white tiles, and you are led into the kitchen onto some sub-par linoleum. I'm thinking about tearing it up and replacing it all with a concrete floor and sealing it. I would probably stain the concrete blue-ish. Anyone have any experience in this type of work? Any tips? Downfalls? Alternatives?

I just built a small cottage with a kitchenette for my wife. I used this https://www.lowes.com/pd/QuickStep-Studio-Spill-Repel-Vailmont-Chestnut-6-14-in-W-x-3-93-ft-L-Embossed-Wood-Plank-Laminate-Flooring/ [login to see] and haven’t regretted it yet. It is for wet areas.
