Your reactions will need to vary based on location. If you're in theater, ROE would apply. If in the states or Europe, probably not much you can do except simply be careful. On a public road outside of a combat zone, you are simply traffic, convoy or not.Response by SGT David T. made Aug 15 at 2017 3:18 PM2017-08-15T15:18:42-04:002017-08-15T15:18:42-04:00SGT Dave Tracy2835273<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Stateside? No. Stateside we are all governed by the same set of laws on the road. The same thing could be said about funeral processions, but I've seen more than one person interrupt a funeral procession because "they had places to be".Response by Cpl Justin Goolsby made Aug 15 at 2017 5:50 PM2017-08-15T17:50:15-04:002017-08-15T17:50:15-04:00PFC Jonathan Albano2836153<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No such law exists in the Civilian world. It's up to your CoC to brief you on the ROE which should include how to handle civilian traffic on the same roadway. Generally these instructions include staying calm, keeping a safe following distance, and basically use common sense.Response by PFC Jonathan Albano made Aug 15 at 2017 9:51 PM2017-08-15T21:51:32-04:002017-08-15T21:51:32-04:00SN Greg Wright2839538<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You are not correct. Once on a public road in this country (most countries, I suspect) you're just traffic.Response by SN Greg Wright made Aug 16 at 2017 7:44 PM2017-08-16T19:44:12-04:002017-08-16T19:44:12-04:00MSgt Wayne Morris2841189<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depends if the convoy is marked National Security Movement, Unlawful to Break In.
