Am I allowed to perform tasks from my old MOS at my unit after being a MOS-T if it isn’t listed as a SMOS while waiting to PCS?

After reclassing to a different MOS are there any limitations on my old MOS work duties? Any regulations that state I shouldn't perform duties from previous MOS that could jeopardize my performance in my new MOS before arrival at new duty station?

Allowed? Your previous PMOS should automatically become your SMOS.
Did you forget everything OR is a supervisor conducting a brain dump?

The ONLY thing I can think of is that, if your SMOS involves any dangerous/unsafe activities, be careful as you are doing them because you don't wanna show up at your new unit with a new MOS and be on profile for your activities before you departed. Other than that, if you WANT to do those tasks, go for it and have a GREAT time - and if you don't WANT to do those tasks, do them as good as you can and be happy when you finally exit the unit (and MOS).

You perform your duties as directed under the now Secondary until you arrive at your new unit. If you have already received training for you new MOS and your current unit has a position you can perform those duties. Bottom line is that you have a job to do, follow the orders of those appointed over you.

Not yet but soon yes. You will be filling in in a paragraph line number that is slotted against an MOS and Grade. If you an Infantryman that was previously a Human Resources Specialist you could work in the S1. As an SGT you would receive an NCOER. You would be performing a duty that is not your MOS. Your duty MOS would be 42A and your Primary MOS is 11B. You do not want an NCO that shows you were not developing in your MOS. It will put you behind your peers and will reflect poorly on your record. In this example you would be a year behind your peers by working in an MOS that you would not be required to perform and can't get promoted in while ignoring your primary MOS. To some it may look like you were not able to perform your primary MOS and you were just slotted "somewhere else" to do something. If you don't plan on going back to that MOS I wouldn't work in it. If it's an additional duty it may be helpful but it should never be your duty mos.
