Am I able to take on a sick brother as a dependent?

I have an adult brother with an illness which hinders his ability to work along with other things. Am I able to take him on as a dependent? If so, what do I need to do for that?

Go to the DEERS section and tell them your intentions. They will give you an application. It is a relatively easy process.

You would need to contact the DEERS office. Also you have to be providing over 50% assistance to your brother and must be able to prove it. Use the link that was provided by SSG Livingston. Good luck to you...
