Am I able to request a compassionate reassignment to, or request to deliver my baby at, my home of record?

Looking for insight! I am currently a single parent to a 6 year old, and expecting my second, dad doesn’t want to be in the life, so once again single parent. I am wondering while stationed in Germany, if I am able to request a compassionate reassignment, or request to deliver my baby at my home of record? I have been contemplating taking a chapter 8, or finishing my contract. However, I am seriously all alone here, I don’t ever talk to people in or out of my unit, and I struggle with depression and anxiety. I am also having a csection, if that matters on how I can deliver baby surrounded by my family.

You probably will not be able to receive a compassionate reassignment in order to have your baby at home. However, you are granted 12 weeks of maternity leave following the birth of your child. You can take your personal leave in conjunction with maternity leave, the difficulty would be attempting to fly overseas since you would be in your third trimester by that time.
