Check with personnel and ask your chain of command the reasoning. I suspect a medical recommendation and a personnel decision has already been made to have you ETS. You can call the IG and talk with them. If it has not started (just got referred, in medical appointments, MEB stage) request for ETP to extend till your DES is complete.<br />BUT failure to elect; will not cease the process; and can be ETS.
