I dont see why not. I think as long as you dont have any conduct issues it should be fine. Different process, but you should still be able to do it

I just wasn’t sure being I couldn’t ever make drills. And I know I need to get discharge paperwork from the NG.

I've never been NG but I would think you would need to look for a Reenlistment code, or a Flag code on your DD214. Use that code to do some research, its possible that your code may block you from reenlistment.

If you want a definite answer find your local recruiters office, they'll be able to give you the info needed.

I am confused.
It seems that you are suggesting that you couldn't get to drill because of (gas money, cab fare, etc). Yet, going to drill actually pays you money, and if you are in the Guard, you aren't driving very far.
There are a whole bunch of Soldiers there that can help a brother out with car pooling, too.

Now with that out of the way, it would seem that your unit U'd you out for failure to attend 13 UTAs in a calendar year. With that type of discharge, it will take a waiver to get back in.

I can tell you that a s a former SAA who had to handle these kinds of situations, I was very leery of bringing in a Soldier in this circumstance. The story had better be good.
Better than "I didn't have gas money".
The odds of a Soldier U-ing out again are very high.

You need to go see a Recruiter to go back to Active Duty.

If you want to do that you should contact your unit and request a conditional release due to a financial hardship. It doesn't mean that they will let you though.
