After 15 years in Active Army and 12 years as an Army Civilian, what must I know as I transition to being a Navy Civilian?

Depends on the Systems Command you will be with. There are NAVSEA, NAVFAC, SPAWAR and NAVAIR. Some of the high level rules are the same, but each have their own unique way of implementing...

Why don't stay for 5 more years than Branch to that Job? The what I would do but that just me I had 16.5 years in and I was forced out 3.5 years early from Retirement. Well good Luck hope it all works out for You.

Well I wish I could do my 3.5 years and be Retire and then do what I am doing now in little less than 5 months I will have been with Boeing almost 6 years and Ill be getting one Big Final Pay raise which will put me well over 38 per Hour.

As former a Navy PO and now DoD civillian...I'd say the language and culture are different from any of the other services.
