After 15 years in Active Army and 12 years as an Army Civilian, what must I know as I transition to being a Navy Civilian?

Well I wish I could do my 3.5 years and be Retire and then do what I am doing now in little less than 5 months I will have been with Boeing almost 6 years and Ill be getting one Big Final Pay raise which will put me well over 38 per Hour.

My Army time counts toward my civil service time, so as of this year I am over 30 years of government service, so I am not really missing out on much besides PX and commissary, which I will be able to use for the next few years in Japan... My VA check matches what my retirement check would have been, so there are no regrets for me, as I left at 15 instead of being forced out like you stated happened to you.
