They rarely turn them away unless he’s diseased or ill beyond recovery. Maybe put in an ad in the paper? I know there are dog rescue operations but never heard of a cat rescue but maybe contact a rescue and see if they can help. There may even be someone on here willing to take the cat. Where do you live? Best of luck to you and your furry friend. Yes there are cat rescues - my SIL works for one and she fosters a lot of cats/kittens. Some she has even nursed back to health that were nearly dead. I was at FT. Leonard once, and while I was on guard duty out in the boonies, about 30 very hungry looking dogs started to circle me. Let's just say that discretion is always better than valor. Especially when you have no ammo of any kind for your weapon. But that was a very shameful problem of soldiers abandoning their pets out in the woods when they were transferred.

They should all take it. They now look to see if an animal has been abused. SFC Randy Hellenbrand Sun, 02 Jan 2022 18:23:18 -0500 2022-01-02T18:23:18-05:00 2022-01-02T16:03:59-05:00
