Maybe put in an ad in the paper? I know there are dog rescue operations but never heard of a cat rescue but maybe contact a rescue and see if they can help. There may even be someone on here willing to take the cat. Where do you live? Best of luck to you and your furry friend.Response by Cpl Vic Burk made Jan 2 at 2022 4:19 PM2022-01-02T16:19:51-05:002022-01-02T16:19:51-05:00SFC Kelly Fuerhoff7454505<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You could look up no kill shelters or find any kind of rescue or foster places. Yes there are cat rescues - my SIL works for one and she fosters a lot of cats/kittens. Some she has even nursed back to health that were nearly dead.Response by SFC Kelly Fuerhoff made Jan 2 at 2022 5:27 PM2022-01-02T17:27:31-05:002022-01-02T17:27:31-05:00SFC Randy Hellenbrand7454560<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I could never give up a pet. I was at FT. Leonard once, and while I was on guard duty out in the boonies, about 30 very hungry looking dogs started to circle me. Let's just say that discretion is always better than valor. Especially when you have no ammo of any kind for your weapon. But that was a very shameful problem of soldiers abandoning their pets out in the woods when they were transferred.<br /><br />They should all take it. They now look to see if an animal has been abused.Response by SFC Randy Hellenbrand made Jan 2 at 2022 6:23 PM2022-01-02T18:23:18-05:002022-01-02T18:23:18-05:002022-01-02T16:03:59-05:00
