RallyPoint launched ads throughout parts of our platform today. For now, our ads are driven by Google Ads, which determines which ads to show every member... so everybody sees something Google thinks is best for them (we don't control that part).

We will also use these ad spots to highlight RallyPoint partners in the future.

I didn't see the add for Asian dating, but I did get an add for luxury cars. Because as well all know, an LT makes all this money and we can afford a $60,000+ vehicle. /facepalm

You've obviously been looking up something to do with asian dating, because your stored cookies are what is informing the ad choice!! Mine shows ads for straight razors and shaving supplies.

I was rather hoping this site would be far more selective and try to screen advertisements for appropriateness to this community. I will no doubt begin seeing more ads for J Date, Yaz, makeup, dresses, shoes, SUVs, child care services and products - just like elsewhere.

Asian dating services? Legal immigration? What about guns and ammo, aviation week, defense quarterly, single malt scotch, hunting, divorce / class action attorneys, moving services, australian military opportunities, motorcycles, convertible cars, cuban cigars, low cost flights with more comfortable seats, nice hotels around the world, cheap shuttle services to get from airport to my hotel?

Well, if you gotta pay bills, this is one way.
