Jason Duey II 6637416 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As a current college freshman (19 years old) I’m having a hard time deciding between these two. In my mind I have 2 options set up. My first option is to go active duty as an 11b and serve my time, then after go back to college and get my bachelors or simply go right to work. My second option is to go into the Maryland national guard as an 11b and after OSUT go back to college and get my degree while in the national guard, then once my contract is up reenlist as active duty. <br /><br />My main goal after service is to go into federal law enforcement, however most jobs require a bachelors degree, and the service gets veterans preference points.
