I know that they allow 35S to fill the billets now and know there are accelerated MOS-Q courses for other 35 series MOS's. Is there an accelerated course to reclass to 35S? If so, how long is it? I am 11B but have served in a SIGINT / EW role for a few years now.Does an accelerated course exist for 35S MOS-Q? If so, how long is it?2022-01-08T09:32:46-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member7464619<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently active duty but am transitioning to the ARNG with the intent of joining either 19th or 20th SFG as a SOT-A . Normally it’s 3 months, but mine was 1.5 months. They did the same for 35M’s. There was a signals house there too , but I’m not sure which MOSs they taught there.Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 8 at 2022 2:25 PM2022-01-08T14:25:09-05:002022-01-08T14:25:09-05:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member7466741<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There is one route to 35S, and it's 12 weeks at Goodfellow AFB, and a year at DLI, unless you can already score a 3/3/3 in a needed language on a DLPT...Response by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 9 at 2022 6:41 PM2022-01-09T18:41:09-05:002022-01-09T18:41:09-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member7468698<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can look on the ATRRS Course catalog to see if they have an accelerated school for Reclass. Some MOS's do and others don't for reserve component, I would guess this one doesn't.<br /><br />Some MOS's have accelerated courses under ACASP, but those are for civilian acquired skills.<br /><br />SOT-A positions are going to be Interview only positions, meaning you can't join 19th group with the intention of being a 35S. You will have to join a local NG unit with a 35S spot and after MOS training request to join a group with a vacancy. SOTs usually fill up with people leaving active duty from USASOC with years of experience in a SOF environment, so your competition may be stiff, depending where you're at.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 11 at 2022 12:16 AM2022-01-11T00:16:26-05:002022-01-11T00:16:26-05:002022-01-08T09:32:46-05:00
