A Navy Veteran went to San Diego and got me a Challenge Coin. Should I accept it?

I know a lot of people who collect them. As long as you're not trying to pass it off as your own unit to get free drinks, I think you're fine. ;)

I received coins from three Army units, and a Marine unit while contracting in Iraq. Is that the same thing as a Challenge coin?

Challenge coins serve many purposes, BX's and PX's often sell them. If a Veteran thought enough of you to bring it to you, then I would accept it based on your respect for that person, not unlike any other gift.

I would; just make sure when you are asked about it, let them know the truth behind it. I also think it's a nice way a veteran thanks you and holds you at a high level of respect.

You should always accept it. It is a thing of respect to hand it to someone (based off the situation of course, which in this case it is obvious).
