While I don't condone safety violations in any form or fashion, it's also good to see such a high level of esprit de corps in a young troop. I think his leadership chose the right course of action. Yeah it was kinda reckless, he could have dropped the fish, or his phone, or been distracted and had a mishap, but he didn't, and took steps to ensure some degree of safety. He probably knew that putting the stunt on Facebook was gonna land him in hot water, and he seemed to accept that, so I'll gladly leave him alone. His command seemed to be more upset with the recklessness itself than anything else, because it wasn't like it was yet another oui, or some other criminal incident.
