I suggest you roll with it and only challenge if the negative counseling (not UCMJ, or GO memorandum/letter of Reprimand) becomes a critical point of the annual review.<br /><br />Usually if you can swallow your pride and accept that you had made a mistake, most raters can be fairly benevolent in their ratings.
