Hey team,

I'm looking for any resources I can to get myself and twelve other reserve NCOs enrolled into SSD2/SSD3. It seems that several of us were left behind when the auto-enrollment "trigger" was instituted this past year. Thus far, I've fought this issue since October 2014, keep forwarding the issue up my support channel and command chain, and calling anyone that's remotely connected to USARC enrollments in SSD. So far, all of my emails/phone calls to the USARC POC have gone unanswered, ATHD/ALMS support have stated that they can't enroll anyone, etc.

At this point, I'm ready to throw in the towel. My ETS is in March, so it really doesn't matter much to me, but we have a lot of really great SGTs/SSGs that are being passed up because of an arbitrary class that they aren't given the ability to manage the access to themselves. Am I looking in the wrong place? I appreciate any help, and sorry to sound so bitter about it, it's been an ongoing issue.

If your chain has not helped or has tried but hit brick walls, then a few things I recommend. If you have an Operations NCO/Officer within your unit, go straight into their office and have them put in the submission right in front of you (of course, letting them know that all other avenues you've tried did not work). If you do not have an Ops section, then call/email your BN Operations office and ask them to submit the request (also explaining the chain route didnt work for you).

SSG,

Thanks for the suggestions. Actually, our Operations chief has been incredible with trying to get us set up, as well as our company/battalion leadership. I think what's happening is that we're getting stonewalled past the battalion somewhere, but I'm not sure how to get around that.
