Will D&C ever be important to the military again? This is something that I feel is a lost art in today's military. How do we teach our Soldiers what right looks like if we barely know it ourselves? Cadence responses are also welcomed in this discussion.

It used to be one of the streamers a platoon could get during basic training but I do not think they put much emphasis on DnC as they used to during training now days.

As stated before as we transition back into Garrison Army drill and ceremony will come back just like true Sergeants Time Training. During the past thirteen years of war we have steered away from both of these to focus on preparation for deployments. Drill and Ceremony was on practiced during NCOES and right before a Ceremony to leave and Sergeants Time Training was manily a check in the box since a lot of training was conducted during FTX's or rotations Training Centers.

I know I'm only a Spc but I love dnc it shows discipline. I know were at war but we still need to polish things like this it's sm that out rank me who don't know what a left flank is. I'm all for dnc but that's just me and don't get me started on cadence calling.
