The new AR 600-9 states that record weigh-ins should happen approximately 30 days apart. So my question is, what is approximately? I've had 1SG who always did a minimum of 30 days, and others who choose the first Thursday of a month, regardless of how many days that might be. How far from the 30 days can you get? That is, where is the line?
Who is the deciding factor if a weigh-in is a valid record? Military Justice? The Commander? And if so, how strong is a SMs argument that 28 days is not "Approximately" 30 days?
