It's possible, but the German people are much more touchy about this than most Americans. When the wall fell there was celebration but as east and west Germany tried to re-unite there were many West Germans who considered those from the East lazy immigrants. No I don't have a link, I was there when the wall Fell and I have two sons who live there still.

We had that and worse here in the '60s and '70s. We are starting to get it here again every time a policeman has to shoot a black. Once mob mentality starts it is difficult to control.

We have also had the anti-illegal alien protests here too.

"When you tire of London, You tire of Life" Samuel Johnson. What he is saying is that there is always something entertaining going on in London. In my 3 years there always was something going on. There was always a protest Somewhere in London and some of them quite large and quite loud. The two I remember most outside my Office at 7 North Audling St was Approx 15,000 CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament). CND Protests were glorified Block Parties being they were Peaceniks so that was always fun to see them around. The other one was the London Muslim Community approx. 15'000 strong came out to call us "Baby Killers" after the Bombing of Libya, Operation El Dorado Canyon (I'm not real fond of being Baby Killer). I think there are always lots of protests going on and I agree with Sgt Richard Buckner we don't hear about a lot of them.
