What’s the best way to find and approach a senior warrant officer to request a letter of recommendation for my flight warrant packet?

I’m at the last step of my flight warrant packet: getting a senior warrant LOR. What’s the best way to get one, or approach a senior warrant officer in request of one?

The best way is to work through a friend network. If you have any Aviation friends, see if they can steer you in the right direction.
If not, call over to the Aviation unit and explain your situation. Sometimes you are assigned a Senior Warrant to meet, sometimes one will volunteer.

Are there published org charts of units specific to your desired MOS? If available, that should set up a road map to contact the unit command/First Sgt and request permission to initiate a contact for your interview.
