CMSgt James Nolan - I see this as a valuable tool for any LT in his early stages of his career.

I've gotta go with Black Hawk down and We Were Soldiers.
As a side note I have found myself enjoying vastly inaccurate military films as well (like Battleship). It's hard to get past pointing out inaccuracies or impossibilities, but once you do, you sure enjoy movies a lot more.

I wish I could do that. In any portrayal of the modern Army, that's all I look for.

MSG (Join to see) really? Not accurate for the event that happened or not an accurate portrayal of the Army?

Both. Mark Bowen took a lot of artistic license with the book and the subsequent movie was off too. It wasn't good look at the Army and how we do business either. It would be like watching Act of Valor and thinking that is an accurate portrayal of the Navy, or even just the Special Warfare Group. We know while that looks really nice and professional, that is not the way it goes.
