We have the Ace program set up and it's fine, but we need a program that shows more support towards the solider. How can the Army implement a program? I'm about to separate from the Army, but would like to start or help run a program

I applaud you on this endeavor. What is the concept of your operation?

The concept is once the solider comes forward, after seeing a doctor, we have a group set up that tells stories and helps give that solider ideas on how to help with the depression or suicide

I wish you luck. I want you to know when people are so far in the dumps, rational thinking is difficult let alone deciding who to ask for help. Second, the Army can do sufficient harm to break a soldiers spirits. Some leaders see this as a weakness and deem toughing up the soldier is the right course of action. Even WTUs break the soldiers down further by yelling, screaming, and treating soldiers like unwanted customers. Such was my case at Ft Riley. Agencies on post often don't help. I was at Ft Leavenworth and Housing told me I had to leave by a certain date. I told them I have PTSD and my transportation canceled and I had to do a DITY move, boy did that fall on deaf ears. I am trying to paint a picture of institutional mistreatment that soldiers confront.
