I can't seem to find any significant details in the news.
Two white males in a pickup truck with guns and a 'broken arrow' sign.
This narrows it down to 50% of the MS population...

Here's the problem with Camp Shelby. Once you leave the cantonment area(which is somewhat secure), and head to the training area it's all wide open. Civilians run all the roads out there. There's actually a National Forest there also. We just left there about a month ago, and we almost had 3 separate accidents with civilians driving the tank trails and were rolling down them with Bradley's.

One of our AA locations not even 1/2 mile away there were civilians having a party (with huge ass bonfire)

So nothing really surprises me from down there.

Many Army installations are like that. It seems both for the security and safety of both troops and civilians; (ie firing ranges) they need to be fenced off.

I wonder if an IQ test should be attached to the gun license, along with an ALL AGENCY check, not just FBI. FBI does not have most local agency reports...

Also not good enough - if local agencies don't report to the Feds, things slip through the cracks. There needs to be a national one stop registry for background checks...

How were they able to confirm that it was shots fired? Did they locate brass or have eyewitnesses? If it was shots fired, thank God for piss poor non-military marksmanship. So much for 'thank you for your service.' They are going to start issuing bullet proof PT belts after this.

SFC Mark Merino After multiple google, bing searches I can't find any 'real' hard information on how the authorities know shots were fired or anything else on the identity of the shooters. Just articles shared the same tired information. Happy no one is hurt.
