Does Trump's poll lead say more about Trump or the electorate?

What does it mean when Donald Trump leads GOP polls for POTUS 2016? What does it say about Trump? More importantly, what does it say about the electorate? Do you think the first round of debates will expose Trump for a lack of political and legislative experience? Will it spark his slow fade? Or will he emerge galvanized?

I don't think it says anything about either - both will be "said" loud and clear more than a year from now during the actual election - that's when something will be "said" for both Trump and the electorate. Until then, nothing to be said, only speculation.

CH (MAJ) William Beaver - I think Trump's popularity stems from the fact that he vocalizes much of what the majority of Americans feel, but are afraid of saying for fear of being labeled "racist" or some other label the liberals like to put on people who disagree with their warped beliefs and policies. A lot more people would vote for Trump than who admit it. They are not afraid of being labeled when in the voting booth.
I do not think Trump will get the nomination, but the GOP hopefuls had better start listening to his message and how conservatives are responding, and change their campaign tactics to more closely follow his lead. Romney "played nice" with Obama during his campaign and everyone sees how that played out. The GOP needs to play hardball with the Democrats and pull no punches in calling out all the problems and issues with the incumbent Democrat Administration and its heir apparent, Hillary Clinton. They need not shy away from the inept, corrupt, racist, immoral actions of the competition. Meet it head-on. Follow the lead of Trump.
