What is the current guidance on submitting PCS/house hunting in the PAID system (IPPS-A)?

Prior to implementation of the PAID system in IPPS-A, guidance for submitting absence in conjunction with PCS was straightforward-submit the first request as chargeable and encompass the entire absence period until the day before your report date, and submit a second request as administrative absence to cover the 10 day period. I followed this guidance and submitted my PCS in the PAID system, but when I submitted house hunting it flagged as a duplicate request.
Is anyone tracking current guidance on submitting PCS & house hunting in the new system? Should I have my PCS cover until just before house hunting and have house hunting go until the day before my report date?

As part of the mitigation, the IPPS-A team developed a series of User Productivity Kits (UPKs)* addressing how absences are handled in IPPS-A with the migration.
Your problem is likely from having the date of return and the end date in your first entry the same. If so, you should have your end date as the day prior to your report date, however the date of return should be 10 days prior (to allow for house hunting). When you put in your second entry (house hunting), it will be start the day after the date of return but the end date will be the same.
That should do it without generating any errors, but double-check the UPKs

Thank you, sir! I thought I was following the guidance to a t, but turns out it was a fubar on my part. I did have both end and return dates the same on my initial request. Thank you for clearing that up.
