Where do I get the Peer Support Specialist Certification training on the West Coast?

Recently, my doc told me that I would make an amazing Peer Support Specialist. I tried applying on USA Jobs, where it instructed me that to apply, I would need a certification. Does anyone know how or where to obtain the certification needed? I live in downtown Las Vegas.

The VA will only accept certification through their recognized trainers which are RI and DBSA. You're wasting money doing it through somewhere else unless you are looking for do peer work outside the VA. You can apply for peer apprentice positions at the VA and they will send you to training.
