Transition to civilian life had some benefits, namely that I now had time to do things I couldn't do before. I found that riding my motorcycle provided great stress relief...

shooting, machine shop, riding motorcycles, teach others to ride 26 days a month, building adventure bikes for folks with more money than time or wrenching skill, fleet maintenance for 18 training bikes, recurring maintenance and upgrades on small core group of customer bikes..and in my spare time.................lol

I did switch out my my bike to a 07 HD Night Train a year before I retired, and definitely getting a lot of ride time in!

I also have a V-Rod, but that gets to be uncomfortable for long rides. Definitely loving the Road King for long cruises!
