Have you seen the Delta IV rocket carrying military communication satellite?

At 2007-2048 there will be a rocket launching from cape Canaveral florida that will be carrying a military communication satellite that will provide battle management and combat support information for 10 years. Theres a link if you would like to watch the launch!

YES I HAVE – but being ASSEMBLED not flying I had a chance to visit SLC-6 launch site at Vandenberg AFB (and take the elevator to the top of the gantry) & visit LA AFB/Boeing Space Assembly plant in 2005 as part of my Officer “MOS” / Functional Area 40 – Space Systems Operations Qualification Course (SSOQC)! It was a DREAM COME TRUE – since I was little I was ALWAYS interested in Space. Part of the course included tours to Ball Aerospace, the USAFA Space Lab, Digital Globe, the Joint Space Operations Center (j-SPOC)(LLLOLLL).
Very soon – I think in the next 10-15 yrs there will be a new branch of service for Space Professionals.
