I would definitely not say "easy." There are over 1.4M Americans with a Top Secret clearance, and there really is no such thing as a good paying job that is easy to get (otherwise more would apply to it, and it wouldn't be easy any more!). Having a Top Secret clearance will help you be more competitive for certain jobs though.

Battle I would advise that seeing as you are intel you should look into the intel community. NSA, CIA, DIA, and FBI. I am currently transitioning out and I know of some individuals from those agencies who are looking to hire vets with experience.

Yes, you can get a orderly job at any government agency or company that works with the government making about 80gs a year or more with that TS

Funny story a friend of mine got kicked out with a general discharge and he still got about a 40k job up in northern virginia doing desk jockey stuff. He is off making a lot of money. So a degree can always help pending on what you're going for. Look on USAJOBS an Clearancejobs.com and you will see it everywhere. What was your MOS/AFSC?
