For me it was several years after I had gotten out and realized that I can finally throw all the boxes I saved over the years for all my electronics and fragile items. I knew once I threw them out there was no going back and I was finally home and done moving.

SFC Ken Heise My final PCS move was to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, the one place I DIDN'T want to go!

My final PCS was to the storied ,some would say infamous Ft.Polk La.back in 1967 ,but from where I was coming from ,the Central Highlands of Vietnam it was the easiest and it became my “Happy Place,”Welcome Home Brothers .

Getting rid of crap I accumulated over the years. The only way to do that was doing all the packing.
