I need help figuring out what I need to do in order to get my wife home. Embassy told me to look online and hung up. I'm ETSing in June and need to get my wife green card, every time I look online all forms contradict each other. Idk if I have to file 2 forms or 10 different once. It looks like there is over $5000 worth of fees, but then I don't understand how privates managed to bring their foreign spouses. I just really need help figuring out what I need to do. I know there are some people here who had to go through this process or helped their soldiers go through it.

You mean the Consulate. That's where to do citizen actions in foreign countries.
The Embassies are for government to government official transactions.

Bringing Spouses to Live in the United States as Permanent Residents
In order to bring your spouse (husband or wife) to live in the United States as a Green Card holder (permanent resident), you must be either a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.

Privates don't really bring their foreign spouse's home, not without a lot of planning and saving. It is expensive and it takes a long time. You will not get this done before you ETS, so you will need to do one of the following :
1. Return to get your spouse after you ETS on your own dime once she has her residency card
2. Remain in place with her after you ETS
3. Extend to stay in the Army while you work on her Residency card and pay for her travel to the US or
4. Extend at your location long enough for the residency and at least a year for command sponsorship so that the Army will pay the cost of her travel as well
