I was in the reserves and had a GTC but it expired. I’ve been working with my S4 to get a new one/get a reinstatement and it has been taking forever. I need it for my class in February but we haven’t heard jack from Citi. Is there a phone number or email I can contact to speed up the process? Or do I just need to wait. I’ve applied for a new one probably 3 times now and I’ve tried faxing my reinstatement form quite a few times now but nothing seems to be working.

CPT (Join to see) - But, they may have an answer as to where a hold up is taking place. For example, if they say that they've not received anything from the unit...then there is the hang up.

MSG (Join to see) - Right, but is Citi going to be able to tell him the hang up is at his Company level or BDE/BN level or sitting on the civilian admin. There are multiple stages of getting a GTC issued and none of them are going to be on Citi to execute. The hang up is invariably the army. Citi isn't going to be able to tell him what part of the process on the army side is stalled out.
All Citi wants is the credit card application Citi puts out, which is held up on the Army side probably because of one of any number of items is missing from the GTC packet, compounded by someone potentially not pushing it up to the next stage.

Actually, where I would start is with Citi, and try and get a new card issued directly from them saying the card was lost or expired and a new one needs issuing. Possibly they might have what they need on hand and if that's the case. SCORE!!!!!!!!!! Then just have the unit link the card to their books.
