Have any of you worked with a career coach/counselor when preparing to leave the military?

CPT (Join to see) Can't say I did use anyone. I knew before I even joined the Marines where I wanted to go to school, just couldn't afford it. I was enrolled and in school before my EAS because I took terminal leave. With the help of the GI Bill I was able to pursue my dream of electronics engineering. Good luck to you.

CPT (Join to see) No. I had plans and goals that I implemented when I was discharged. In addition to military transition resources, I would explore civilian transition resources. Good luck Captain.

I’m definitely going to rely more on civilian resources this time around. I used military transition resources when I got out the first time. They weren’t especially helpful. I have a few degrees and other alphabet soup behind my name for this transition but I think I might want to change career paths again and I think a career coach might help.
