Its a great program, keep people healthy with preventative healthcare should create huge savings as compared to expensive healthcare costs for treating diseases and illnesses. These are becoming much more common and are at most military installations.
You can take your squad/platoon or company through to get a great health assessment for the unit - might help to identify early any issues your troops might be having as well. Great program!

There aren't that many CONUS regions. I attended a wellness center in Heidelberg, Germany. The center was such a place to learn about stress & relaxation, fit tests, BMI, nutrition, and public health awareness. Perhaps these centers can be a standard at every post. The professionals can provide training for Service Members, Family members and Retirees.
Teach one to reach one.
