If I have firearms registered to post and someone breaks into my residence on-post(Ft.Campbell) can they be used for self-defense?

In the defense authorization bill in 2015 as a result of Fort Hood shootings. Military are allowed to carry. Use of force is a higher standard, than off base. Other requirements are in the policy and commanders also can set local parameters.

Capt Gregory Prickett - No doubt you are correct but the old saying still has value, 'better to be judged by 12 than carried by six.'

Capt Christian D. Orr reminds me why I always live off post and never on post so I don’t have this issue in the first place! I’m always allowed to have weapons in my home and defend it no questions asked no matter what! Don’t need permission from a stupid PMO for that when it’s private property!
