How likely is it that I can get back in the Army with an RE 3 code and a JKQ separation code?

I was discharged after 2 years of active duty for misconduct. I received a General under Honorable Conditions discharge, with an RE 3 code, and a JKQ separation code. My recruiter said she could definitely get me back in with a little paperwork, but I was wondering how realistic that really was. How likely is it my waiver will get approved? I was young and made stupid mistakes, and I would like to get back in and continue my career. So how likely is it to get approved?

Don't hold your breath, It was a serious charge, and RE3 takes a big waiver. Right now, after discharging thousands of folks for not being deployable, the Army is stretching TIG requirements for promotions, and cutting down recruiting to meet the budget constraints. You would be the last choice for a recruiter.

They're actually recruiting prior enlisted with RE 3 codes without an issue and are being treated the same as any other recruit and I'd know this because I'm personally going through the process myself of obtaining a waiver to reup.

You were separated for misconduct (serious offense)
While it is possible, it’s not probable.

Go in the National guard do six months of guard time trans to active duty no waiver needed

SGM (Join to see)
PFC (Join to see) - An RE-3 would still require a waiver to get into the Guard, same problem you face now.
And the Guard doesn't have to release you to go active duty.
