I was dropped from ALC for misconduct five years ago. I've went went back and completed it since and have been promoted. Is there anyway to get my old 1059 removed or moved to restricted? It's filed in my iperms as a referred report under AER-R.

I may be wrong but I don't think so. I mean, you did get removed from the course but you then went back and successfully completed it and got promoted so it doesn't appear to have held you back.

For SFC and higher, when they review records they look at a whole person concept. It does depend on each individual looking at the file but if they see you overcame whatever it is that got you removed, it may not reflect poorly. It may ultimately depend on what the misconduct was but snice you have DUI as a tag, is that it?

Not that I am aware of. I’m certain that appeals happen during the issue of the 1059. Once it has been accepted for record, unless there is an Dami’s test I’ve error… it stands
