Since I am currently in the National Guard, and want to go AD for WOFT, will I have to ETS first?

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe I’ll have to be released from the Guard to go active duty and then go through the street-to-seat program. Hardest thing will probably be trying to find a recruiter to help me on the packet since there is little reward for them to do so. I love flying, I have around 300 hours fixed wing and a commercial pilots license with an instrument rating. I want to have purpose when I go to work in the morning and the missions I’ve done in the Army have been very fulfilling so far and would be better if I could fly! Any answers and advice would be great appreciated.

As far as I know, a DD368 Conditional Release is all you need to add to your packet to apply. You could also just apply to the NG flight program as well

No need to ETS. Get all your testing done, get your packet done and submitted. There is no issue for this at all. You will go to WOCS and if you pass that you go to flight school. Once you pass you will be given a new contract as a Warrant Officer to be either Active or NG.
*this is what I was trying like 10 years ago, but my waivers stacked up to well beyond what the Army wants.

I have 2 years left until I ETS from the guard and cannot find any flight WO's to bounce ideas off of.
