You mean like the Marine Corps Center for Lessons Learned? (MCCL)?
http://www.tecom.marines.mil/Units/Directorates/MCCLL.aspx
Or the Center for Advanced Operational Cultural Learning (CAOCL)?
https://www.mcu.usmc.mil/caocl/SitePages/Home.aspx
Or the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity?
http://www.hqmc.marines.mil/intelligence/UnitHome.aspx
Or the professional learning and debate paper The Marine Corps Gazette?
https://www.mca-marines.org/gazette
Or the less educationally rigorous leatherneck Magazine?
https://www.mca-marines.org/leatherneck
Or Like RallyPoint or Higher Purpose or We the Mighty etc etc..

Yes I see value for it. The challenge is differentiating and providing unique value or partnering and leveraging efficiencies others have already established. You might contact RallyPoint Team and see if there are any partnerships your organizations might collaborate on.

Other Marines active on site have thoughts? 2ndLt Matthew Johnson Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS SGT (Join to see) GySgt Wayne A. Ekblad?

Hey thanks for the comment!

These centers of lessons learned provide vast amounts of knowledge pertaing to a wide array of Marine Corps action. Many of the documents and after actions should only be viewed by Marines.

What bloodstripes.com provides in a Marine toolkit, is the ability to plan and execute a successful career path.
While some articles and questions pertain to operations, we make it a point to not share our own TTPs.

Bloodstripes allows Marines to mold and tailor their careers, doing what works best for them.

Example: I am stationed in 29 palms and want to reenlist and PCs to Quantico. In order to better understand the job and duty station where I'd be working, I had to go around to senior leaders throughout my battalion seeking advice. This advice was, often times, not reliable. Additionally, when I am asking people for advice, I am not doing my job and I'm taking away from them doing their job.

Thats the point of BloodStripes, so Marines have a resource to go to which, provides advice on professional development needs and assists them along their career path.

Bloodstripes allows Marines to do what we do...win wars.

I welcome any additional thoughts you may have on the site. Please feel free to send them to my personal email [login to see]

Keep an eye out for our podcast "Cigars and Sea Stories" launching this summer!

Hey thanks for the response.

bloodstripes.com is similar to the C.A.L.L., in the sense that, we share our lessons learned however, BloodStripes does not provide after actions and debrief summaries. These items have a degree of confidentiality. Rather, we provide our expertise through stories and shared experiences while referencing Marine Corps order and regulations.

The toolkit is used by Marines to seek out areas of interest so that they may improve their military careers. This is a growing mentorship platform specifically designed for Marines. A similar resource for the Army would be asktop.net

We welcome your thoughts on the site and any suggestions on how can better serve Marines and our mission.
