When you first enlisted/commissioned some odd years ago did you see your self in the position your in know or another path in your military career. What opportunities did you make and accept for you to become the service member you are today?

I NEVER thought I'd be a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, especially in my MOS. Points were high and I was surrounded by negativity.

One of the best pieces of advice I ever received coming up in the ranks, was to keep my head down and just listen. Keep your head down, and do what's told of you. Listen to what your leaders are telling you; they're not just blowing smoke up your tail feathers. There is a method to be madness. Eventually, as you develop more, you'll understand why things are done the way they are.

Never was a long term thinker. Probably never envisioned being a "Spook" for 21 years. Now rather proud of my History. My Recruiter didn't lie to me when he said I would get to play with more Radios than I could Imagine and the Antennas were not to be sneezed at either. Dinosaur Cage (Wullenweber) to Project Timberline 150ft Parabolic Dish.
