The US Army has reached agreements with 908 Devices for next generation CBRN Detection equipment. The new equipment will not only provide first responders with equipment to detect traditional Chemical and Biological agents, but Non-Traditional Agents, Toxic Industrial Chemicals, and other hazards in the air and on surfaces in all states of matter.
With all of this in mind, what do you all feel of the amount of money being invested into the CBRN Program? Is this a worthwhile investment, or is the possibility of a CBRN threat so low in the present day battlefield that the money spent is 'wasteful?'

This fits the homeland security aspect of the corps' mission. I'm sure the CSTs will find it useful

Oh, so NOW they come out with fun tools.
There I was with the chem detection paper and the ACADA and the ICAM...pretty useless for TIC/TIMs....

Well, the JCAD does have some TIC/TIM abilities, but nothing compared to the new "fun tools" that are coming out.
