Where can I find the contact information for the career field manager of the respiratory therapy program?

SFC, you always have great answers to most questions of the type you just replied to. I wonder however ... couldn't a Recruiter provide some info? I'm guessing you didn't because of his prior service, and the likelihood that he might just get pushed into his prior services' MOS which is what happened to me when I first went Navy to Army.

SSG Bill McCoy a recruiter who has seen what he's about to ask might know, but most recruiters are DA Select recruiters and don't have much experience till the end of their tour. This guy in particular was on here a few months ago saying that he had been to several recruiters already, so I'm assuming that they didn't answer his question. Most likely that question is some version of "Can I be a 68V?".

I am finally going to MEPS this Friday as a prior service applicant. The respiratory therapist career field (68V) is non entry-level position. This means that recruiters/guidance counselors do have much knowledge on this MOS. I meet all the requirements for this MOS as far as college, rank, and line scores.

SPC Maximilian Rodriguez what you're looking for is called ACASP, Army Civilian Acquired Skills Program. 68V TRAINING is a non IET MOS. Lisenced Respiratory Therapists with employment experience can enlist as a 68V.

If you are somehow unable to access into the Army under the ACASP program, just come in under your old MOS and after you've been on station a year you can reclass to 68V with no training (possibly even sooner) as long as your license is still valid.
