Is there a minimum gap for height and weight like there is for APFT?

I read somewhere there has to be a minimum 4 month gap to administer a record APFT, however I know the CDR can do height and weight at any time if they feel a Solider doesn't look like they meet the standard. But is there a minimum gap for it to be a record? Just curious is all. Thank you for your time!

SSG (Join to see) - AR600-9 para 3-3 "d. Commanders have the authority to direct a body fat assessment on any Soldier that they determine does not present a Soldierly appearance to ensure Soldier meets the screening table weight for his or her measured height." All weigh ins are "record". The 4 months are for record APFTs , but commanders can direct a diagnostic everyday if they wanted....i can't imagine anyone with the time to perseverate on that full time, but AR 350-1 Appendix F permits it.
If soldiers are enrolled in the ABCP for exceeding HT/WT and BF, then that is different. Those are scheduled weigh ins and tapes.
I was taped for 26 years. I've been there. "Why the f are they taping everyone?" Being in the field 3 out of every 4 weeks in a month for 18 months. I get it. Having to work weird hours and night shifts, got it. Is what it is.
The 2 months later sounds like there were many people who eeked by, and this was a gotcha to keep them on their toes. Then there are people who just got caught off guard by these. Perhaps the actual intended targets for this were on TDY, leave, or somehow not present for duty that day. I personally would have just had them weighed and taped on return under the regulation part I posted above.
I never had time for this method. I used my PT program. I used my BCP. They were managed and their were no cracks to slip through. You were in or out. I did not have time to jump out from behind the dumpster and yell "gotcha!"

LTC Jason Mackay I just have a weird feeling this command is trying to find reasons to get Soldiers. Some Soldiers are considering it "profiling" but I want to make sure I know the regulation and if something isn't right then it can be addressed.
I always have to get taped and I know the tape system is garbage. I'm hoping with the new changes they allow the bod pod to be an alternative form to measure BMI. I really appreciate your feedback and answer, sir.

SSG (Join to see) - I did the bod pod and it did me no favors. Tape was the most generous. I have since found out that I have a higher than usual layer of fat between and in between my organs that no amount of death camp dieting and PT will fix.

LTC Jason Mackay it's a struggle. Females have to have thick necks and be skinny all the way down. The bod pod pit me at 28% BMI but tape gets me at 34% or on bad days 35% which is one percent over for me. Everyone is different.

No. Ht/Wt any time command deems it necessary. There are provisions that prevent a soldier from being separated if they meet satisfactory progress. But, Ht/Wt can be done daily if the command wants to spend the time doing that.
