Is there a waiver you can submit if you have less than 8 years AFS for 420A Warrant Packet?

I am currently a SSG at 6 years in active duty and looking to explore options in my career. I would like to put in my Warrant Officer packet for my current MOS which would be a 420A or Human Resources. The prerequisites is saying you must have a minimum of 8 years of AFS and no more than 12 when you apply. So my question is, is there a waiver I can submit with the packet if I have less than 8 years AFS? I'm currently at 6 will hit 7 years in September of this year.

It should state on the usarec website. Go through the steps of WO recruiting then I think forms? There, there should be a tab of ETPs, and then find the service length waiver.

So I answered this for someone else. Typically it’s all branch dependent on what waivers they’ll take (pretty much a waiver for anything). I would either contact where ever your proponent warrant officer is at and ask them or simply submit the packet with waivers. If you don’t get selected you’ll know your deficiencies or you’ll just be qualified non select due to your TIS.
