Basically, there is an event on the weekend 2.5 hours away from Ft Lee and I would like to attend. I'm presuming best case travel limitations have been lifted at this point.

Are my weekends going to be slammed to the point we just hold up in the hotel and work on class projects?

He was supposed to do the residency phase and was done at home instead

I just had a Senior captain in my unit do his civil affairs qualification course online instead of going to Fort Bragg.

I don't know how I feel about that. I guess civilian side, it makes life a lot easier, but at this rate I'm going to make MAJ without ever leaving the house.

I just completed LOG-CCC all online (through MS Teams). The instructors say it's likely going to be online-only through the rest of the TY.

Both phase 1 and phase 2? I guess I feel indifferent about that. Clearly I think we are losing out academically, but I'm always constantly fighting USAR and civilian obligations, time off from work and family. 2020 and 2021 have been a blessing in that regard.

I asked the instructor about this. They said most instructors picked up quickly to teaching remotely and all the content has been unchanged. They said they're actually seeing higher success rates. On top of that, the LOG-CCC course alone saved the Army 750k in travel costs in the past year. I think there's a good chance part or all of it might stay remote.

Also, yes. Both phases were remote.
