When are points actually pulled ?

I just have a question regarding promotion. So I know the cut off to update PPW’s Is on the 8th or the last duty day if it falls on a weekend. My problem is that for this month of November the last duty day fell on the 6th and the 8th on a weekend. When I checked my PPW on the 6th (the last duty day) my points were correct, but when I checked again on the 8th they had dropped because my S-1 messed up my weapon qualifications. So will my points pulled for the cut off for next month be the ones I saw on the 6th (the last duty day) or the 8th ?
